What sets apart the 2016 Malibu from its predecessors is its interior, especially the superb spaciousness. Despite only modest changes made to its previous models’ length—only 2.3” length added overall—the newest 2016 Malibu feels much roomier. Chevy added more than an inch of leg room in the rear, and lowered the newly lengthened front seats and patterned dash to increase headroom throughout the cabin.
