Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Catch Rudolph and his very shiny nose as he guides Santa’s sleigh through Clearwater this Christmas. All your favorite characters from the classic TV show will take the stage at Ruth Eckerd Hall, such as Hermey the Elf, Clarice, and Yukon Cornelius. Come for the nostalgia and bring along the kids for this fresh take on a beloved 40s cartoon.

New Year’s Eve Parade in Ybor City

Date & Time: December 31, 2017 (5:30 PM)
Location: Tampa, FL (Ybor City)
Ticket Price: Free
Running along historic 7th Street on NYE, this winter parade in Tampa is a prelude to the Outback Bowl. Nearly two dozen marching bands will be stomping down the Ybor City streets, following a pep rally and loads of decorated floats. Stick around for a “battle of the bands and cheerleaders” event that will pit the two competing college football squads against each other.
Free for all and fantastically fun, this NYE event in Tampa shouldn’t be missed.


Winter Village in Tampa Bay

Date & Time: Ends January 5, 2018
Location: Curtis Hixon Park (Tampa, FL)

Downtown Tampa hosts this fantastic Winter Village event along the Tampa Riverwalk. Over 20 boutiques and shops line Curtis Hixon Park, offering everything from clothing to household wares to dog treats. Best of all, you can strap on some ice skates and clumsily lap the Winter Village Ice Rink, which is only open during the holiday season. We bet this becomes a part of your family’s annual tradition.

Boggy Bottom Auto Show 2018

HighBall Craft Cocktail Competition

Ever wonder where to get the best drinks in Tampa or St. Pete? The Creative Loafing HighBall competition will answer that question for you. Bartenders and mixologists from all over Florida will compete to see who can mix, shake, and pour the tastiest cocktails. Best of all, the sponsors have worked out a deal with Lyft to provide free first rides. So, bring along a friend or five, and no one will have to be the DD.

Wine Weekend in St. Pete

Date & Time: February 2-4, 2018
Location: Museum of Fine Arts (St. Petersburg, FL)

As the largest fundraiser for the MFA of St. Petersburg, February’s Wine Weekend event will revolve around a French theme (Louis XV and the Palace of Versailles). On Friday, February 2, sip and nibble on premium wines and chef-prepared cuisine at the “Fêtes à Versailles” ball. Saturday’s events begin with a wine auction and conclude with a fabulously extravagant “Century of Light” party. On Sunday, simmer down with a champagne brunch.

20th Annual Florida Motorcycle Expo

Date & Time: February 9-11, 2018
Location: Quaker Steak & Lube (Clearwater, FL)

Clearwater Sea Blues Festival

Date & Time: February 24-25, 2018
Location: Coachman Park (Clearwater, FL)
Ticket Price: Free
What more can you ask for than a weekend full of succulent seafood and live music from the world’s best Blues performers? This year’s Clearwater Sea Blues Fest is back and better than ever, providing head-bobbing jams and fresh dishes made by local restaurants and chefs.
